6 Things To Avoid After An LVL Lash Lift Treatment
We all love how the LVL Lash Lift treatment gives natural lashes more Length, Volume and Lift. However, in order to ensure you get the best possible results, aftercare is an important part of any consultation.
With the right aftercare, your LVL lash lift treatment will last for up to 8 weeks, so not only is it important to follow an aftercare routine to cleanse and nourish your lashes, but also know what to avoid in order to protect your lashes, keep them healthy and looking their best.
THE FIRST 24/48 HOURS AFTER TREATMENT ARE CRITICAL
For the first 48 hours, your LVL solutions are still doing their magic. During this period, it is important to leave your lashes as much as possible to allow them to lock into place.
WHAT MUST I AVOID DOING AFTER A LVL LASH LIFT?
Below are the top 6 things to avoid doing after your LVL Lash Lift treatment to keep LVL lashes looking their best:
Don’t get lashes wet for the first 48 hours, and avoid steam, saunas and swimming. It’s also worth avoiding the gym or heavy exercise for the first 24 hours
For tinted lashes, avoid strong sunlight or UV light for the first 24 hours. Topping up the tint can be done after 4 weeks
Try not to touch or rub the eye area, especially when washing or cleansing the face
After the treatment, avoid sleeping on the front or side, so that the lashes don’t get disturbed whilst they set in place
Don’t use lash curlers, they can be harsh on your natural lashes. With LVL, you won’t need them anyway
No oil-based make-up or remover – The oils can interfere with the LVL solutions, and make applying them challenging. Our aftercare rangeoffers some premium water-based alternatives.
